About the position

Capgemini is seeking a Senior React JS Lead Developer to join their team in Philadelphia. This role focuses on developing user-facing features and optimizing web applications for performance and scalability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with React.js and related technologies, and will be responsible for building reusable components, troubleshooting code, and collaborating with multi-functional teams to meet project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Developing new user-facing features and components using React's component-based architecture.
  • Optimizing web applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring a smooth user experience across devices and browsers.
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing code for maximum performance across devices and browsers.
  • Providing code documentation and inputs to technical documents.
  • Conducting and participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Collaborating with multi-functional teams to define project requirements and scope.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in React.js and React.js workflows (Flux/Redux).
  • Proficient in React.js and its core principles, with a strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Strong UI hands-on experience in coding with React JS and front-end technologies.
  • Excellent programming skills in Bootstrap, ReactJS, React hooks, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Sitecore, and JQuery.
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating them into React applications.
  • Version control skills using Git and experience with collaborative development workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with React JS-based UI development and web stacks.
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS).
  • Familiarity with web design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, WordPress, Web flow, and Figma.
  • Experience in Oracle PL SQL.
  • Ability to work in an AGILE environment.
