About the position

We are seeking a skilled React Native Developer to join our web development team at Serino Systems Inc. This full-time position involves developing a flexible and well-structured front-end architecture, along with the necessary APIs to support it. The role encompasses the entire project lifecycle, from conception to completion, ensuring that projects are both technologically sound and aesthetically impressive.

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile applications for Android and iOS using React Native.
• Create and maintain a flexible front-end architecture.
• Design and implement APIs to support front-end functionality.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure projects meet business requirements.
• Utilize React Hooks and state management with Redux and Redux-Thunk.
• Call REST APIs and handle XML and JSON responses effectively.
• Design user interfaces using the React Native Paper library.
• Participate in test-driven development (TDD) using Jest.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mobile application development using React Native.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience in UI design with React Native Paper library.
• Familiarity with React Navigation 6.x.
• Strong understanding of state management using Redux and Redux-Thunk.
• Experience in calling REST APIs with XML and JSON responses.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and code.
• Working knowledge of Git and version control.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in web development using React is desirable.
• Experience in creating reusable components for both web and mobile applications is a plus.
• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) using Jest is a plus.
