About the position

The React Native Developer at The Judge Group Inc. is responsible for architecting and developing mobile and web applications, focusing on creating scalable and secure solutions. This role involves evaluating design trade-offs, guiding the development team on coding standards, and ensuring that the applications meet business and non-functional requirements. The developer will also drive the implementation of automation scripts and conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions for specific components/modules of a product that work in tandem.
• Evaluate trade-offs while designing components based on business requirements.
• Assist in converting High Level Design (HLD) to detailed design using mock screens and pseudo codes.
• Select appropriate frameworks, platforms, and environments for software coding/configuration and scripting.
• Guide the team on coding patterns, languages, and frameworks in line with industry trends.
• Support ad-hoc reviews of software code to ensure baseline mitigations for known risks.
• Create/configure minimalistic code for the entire product/system to meet business requirements.
• Oversee the code executed by the team in line with specified technical/business requirements.
• Drive the creation of scripts for automation of repetitive tasks in CI/CD and testing processes.
• Conduct code reviews for code developed by the team.
• Drive security of the code base to prevent security violations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in architecting and developing mobile & web applications.
• Strong expertise in front-end architecture, distributed systems, scalability, and design patterns.
• Strong expertise in frontend development using React, React Native, and Redux.
• Strong expertise in frameworks like Cocoa and Android application framework.
• Solid understanding of Quality, Safety, and Security standards (e.g., PCI).
• Strong expertise in integrating analytics, crashlytics, and profiling mobile and web apps.
• Strong expertise in architecting automation frameworks for testing mobile and web applications.
• Solid understanding of GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Clear communication skills, including the ability to create functional charts.
• Ability to multitask between several different requirements and features concurrently.
• Experience with cloud-native technology and third-party libraries and APIs.
• Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to perform in a team environment.
• A true passion for technology.

Nice-to-haves

• Backend experience in either Java or Node.js development.
• Experience in Azure cloud architecture and deployments.
• Strong understanding of cloud technology, including Azure offerings, cloud storage, cloud security, and cloud migration.

Benefits

• Salary range of $140,000 - $150,000 plus a 20% bonus and relocation package.
