React NodeJS Developer

About the position

We are seeking a React NodeJS Developer to estimate, develop, test, and deliver on various technologies including but not limited to React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and NodeJS. The role involves building and deploying new frontend and backend features and interfaces for our campaign sweepstake and data platforms. The developer will provide technical support in the development and continual improvement of services, while also developing and maintaining effective working relationships with cross-functional team members. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Estimate, develop, test, and deliver on various technologies including React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and NodeJS.
• Build and deploy new frontend and backend features and interfaces for campaign sweepstake and data platforms.
• Provide technical support in the development and continual improvement of services.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional team members.
• Adapt and work with team members of various experience levels.

Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience in software design and development.
• Hands-on experience in building large-scale services, distributed systems, and applications.
• Experience translating artist-driven creative Figma designs into frontend experiences.
• Solid understanding and natural curiosity of bleeding edge and newer technologies for both backend and frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in modern design patterns and development languages including JavaScript, React, NodeJS, NPM, JavaScript ES2019, ESLint, and coding standards.
• Proficiency in responsive design principles.
• Practical hands-on experience with real-time technologies such as web sockets.
• Experience integrating with web services, REST, GraphQL, and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Proficiency in secure software development.
• Proven experience with Amazon AWS in an enterprise setting including specific technologies such as Lambda, S3, CloudFront, ElastiCache, SNS, etc.
• Comfortable with version control and release management concepts and tools such as GitHub for code branching and merging.
• Experience in building products with full-stack technologies with an excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, OOP, and OOAD.
• Able to define, design, and implement complex and scalable enterprise applications.
