About the position

ION Solar is seeking a Junior-Level React & React Native Developer to join their growing team. This role involves providing on-site and remote IT support, maintaining client IT environments, and troubleshooting software and hardware issues. The developer will work closely with multiple teams to ensure effective support and contribute to the company's mission of making solar energy accessible to homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote IT support through various channels such as ticketing, phone, email, and chat.
• Maintain clients' IT environments by providing proactive and reactive support.
• Resolve problems, install hardware and software, and support all client computers, printers, and related equipment.
• Document all problems and their resolutions accurately.
• Manage user accounts, groups, and computers, including provisioning for new hires.
• Perform basic email administration and troubleshooting, including Google Workspace.
• Train users on how to utilize various software platforms.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven experience as IT coordinator or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications.
• Proficient with macOS and Windows.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Virtualized experience (VMWare, Citrix, Hyper-V) is a plus.
• Scripting experience (mainly Python and Bash with some SQL and PowerShell) is a plus.
• Network Management & Support experience is a plus.
