About the position

As a React User Interface Developer at Deutsche Bank, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing an intuitive user interface for a payment processing application using Google Cloud tools. This position is categorized under the Corporate Title of Assistant Vice President and is based in New York, NY. Your responsibilities will include creating wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes for end-user validation, as well as owning unit testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and ensuring that new code is thoroughly tested at both the unit and system levels. You will also be responsible for designing, developing, and peer reviewing new code and functionality, operating as a key member of an Agile Scrum team. This position requires a strong coding background in GUI or front-end development, with a portfolio that showcases your UI/UX capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an intuitive user interface using Google Cloud tools for a payment processing application.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data, risk calculations, and control processes, translating them into an interactive model via a user interface.
  • Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes for end-user validation.
  • Own unit-testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and ensure new code is tested at both unit and system levels.
  • Design, develop, and peer review new code/functionality.
  • Operate as a team member of an Agile Scrum team.

Requirements

  • Proficient coding experience in a similar industry with hands-on development experience in GUI or front-end development.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX skills.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, GraphQL, and other front-end technologies.
  • Experience with Figma or other visualization and analytical tools.
  • Experience with BitBucket, Jenkins actions, CloudBuild, ArtifactRegistry, CloudDNS, CloudLoadBalancing.
