About the position
The Real Estate Accountant/AP position is a key role within a rapidly growing Property/Real Estate organization. The primary focus of this role is to manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling high volume invoices. The position offers a high visibility opportunity, reporting directly to the Controller, and is designed for individuals with a background in real estate accounting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and receivables as needed.
- Utilize invoicing software to ensure invoice quality and accuracy.
- Work directly with the Controller and CEO to carry out various A/P duties.
- Cut checks for clients, vendors, and similar personnel with precision.
- Assist with bank reconciliations as needed.
- Support other standard accounting protocols common to monthly cycles.
Requirements
- Experience working with cloud-based accounting software and similar programs.
- Strong reporting and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
