About the position

The Acquisitions Specialist role is a full-time position focused on managing leads and engaging with potential sellers in the real estate market. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to analyze property values and negotiate contracts. The role offers significant freedom to grow and develop within the company, working closely with a Lead Manager to set remote appointments and assist sellers in achieving their goals through property acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Manage leads and follow up through daily CRM use to update and stay on task until deals are closed
  • Reply quickly to all incoming leads and client requests for information
  • Follow scripts to deliver the team value proposition and handle objections
  • Perform analysis on property value using comps and Google Street View
  • Engage in phone-based selling, spending most of the day talking with potential sellers
  • Tackle new leads in real time, answering phones promptly and maintaining/growing current lead generators
  • Uncover seller motivations and build value in the conversation
  • Negotiate purchase contracts with homeowners and real estate agents
  • Research market value comparables within the area
  • Work over the weekend if necessary for hot leads
  • Pay attention to details to avoid costly errors

Requirements

  • Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills
