About the position

The Real Estate Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative support to the Real Estate Management Team, focusing on bookkeeping and tenant/vendor customer service. The role involves a variety of tasks including correspondence preparation, expense reporting, scheduling, and maintaining property files. The position is contract-based and requires strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support for the Real Estate Management Team.
  • Assist with tenant and vendor customer service.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks and maintain tenant, vendor, and property files.
  • Draft, prepare, and distribute correspondence and reports.
  • Coordinate and monitor work assigned to vendors and assist with tenant events.
  • Administer accounts payable and accounts receivable, including coding invoices for payment.
  • Assist with budget preparation and research costs for supplies and services.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions and correspondence.
  • Basic knowledge of financial terms and principles.
