About the position

The Real Estate & Customer Experience Manager at Prologis is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and managing relationships with a diverse customer base in the Chicago market. This role involves overseeing customer management processes, identifying revenue opportunities, and ensuring the maintenance and quality of properties. The position requires strong negotiation, financial reporting, and lease administration skills, along with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer relationships by ensuring clear communication of terms, conditions, and responsibilities.
  • Oversee move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and coordinating repairs or maintenance.
  • Identify additional revenue opportunities by understanding Prologis value-added products and aligning them with customer needs.
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of customers.
  • Utilize technical tools like Salesforce to gather data and develop customer insights.
  • Conduct lease analysis and manage lease administration tasks.
  • Negotiate service agreements to ensure well-maintained properties.
  • Prepare financial reports to meet budget and financial goals for the portfolio.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industrial/commercial real estate experience.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to multiple properties.
  • Current Real Estate sales license in Illinois or ability to obtain one within six months.
  • Dedication to exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to adapt to change and take on new initiatives positively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for developing customer relationships.
  • Experience with property transitions, portfolio acquisitions, or company mergers.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in processing data and completing variance reports.
  • Excellent communication skills for building professional relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Experience with budgeting cycles and CAM reconciliation processes.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $86,000 - $107,000 based on experience and location.
  • Bonus target included in the compensation package.
