About the position

The Real Estate Director at Tailored Brands will lead the real estate program for specific brands, focusing on analysis, selection, negotiation, and management of properties across major markets. This role involves developing market plans, conducting site selections, and managing lease negotiations for corporate offices, distribution centers, and other properties. The director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align real estate strategies with corporate goals and ensure effective execution of new store openings and other initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Direct the analysis, selection, negotiation, administration, and coordination of Tailored Brand's real estate program.
• Develop comprehensive real estate strategies and execution plans in conjunction with Data Analytics and FP&A partners.
• Analyze market data to determine site feasibility and identify areas of opportunity for brand needs.
• Negotiate business terms of leases, including economic and site data.
• Prepare and present packages for the Real Estate Committee regarding prospective sites.
• Manage all transactions in owned assets portfolio, including sale or sell lease back transactions.
• Coordinate with design and construction personnel to execute the site selection to opening process.
• Manage the pipeline tool from site selection to store opening.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in retail real estate site selection and lease negotiations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and demographic mapping software.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze P&L statements.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence others.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in business or Real Estate preferred.
• 20+ annual new deal execution experience.
