In this role, you will advise JLL team leads and Department of Defense (DoD) clients on all aspects of large-scale Public-Private Partnership (P3) projects. This includes housing property management, construction oversight, real estate finance, and legal document compliance. You will support a series of recurring client reports, including quarterly asset performance reports, compliance reports, housing property operations reports, and account status reports. Additionally, you will provide ad hoc support to JLL team leads and clients as needed, which may involve drafting technical memos, preparing briefing materials, investigating operational issues, and conducting financial analysis. Your responsibilities will also include gathering and evaluating economic, demographic, and real estate market data, reviewing and analyzing legal documents, financial reports, and operating plans as part of the due diligence process, negotiations, and financial restructures. You will participate in on-site assessments of housing property operations, assist in client training sessions, maintain a financial database and document management website, and create and update real estate financial pro forma models of large-scale housing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ad hoc support to JLL team leads and clients as needed, including drafting technical memos, preparing briefing materials, investigating operational issues, and conducting financial analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, finance, public policy or related field preferred.
  • Prefer 0-3 years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of real estate housing operations preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office software suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (e.g. writing reports, developing presentations, and speaking in public).
  • Basic knowledge of real estate finance (e.g. budget analysis, pro forma development).
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel nationally approximately 25% of the time.
