About the position

The Real Estate Manager at KinderCare Learning Companies will play a crucial role in executing the new preschool growth strategy within a designated territory. This remote position requires collaboration with various internal and external teams to drive market planning, site selection, and lease negotiations, ultimately supporting the company's growth objectives. The role involves significant travel and requires a proactive approach to managing real estate activities and providing strategic insights to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Primary driver of market planning, site selection, LOI and lease deals, and real estate support throughout the development process in assigned metros in Central U.S.
• Run and lead all aspects of activities of broker networks and preferred developers to ensure strategies and tactics align with company goals and direction.
• Complete pipeline management of sites from identification through lease execution, requiring leadership of the process with external team members and internal partners.
• Drive use of documentation, analytical decision support tools, and reporting which guide real estate related decisions, including internal processes and controls, portfolio analyses, new site proformas, GIS outputs, site approval documents, and more.
• Contribute to the real estate strategy by providing guidance, feedback, and intelligence to real estate director in meeting new site goals at company levels while steering leadership responses to industry trends.
• Periodic assistance to Asset Management and to other brand growth teams to guide portfolio optimization and investment decisions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in real estate management or a related field.
• High School Diploma/GED.
