About the position
The Real Estate Manager at Mohawk Industries is responsible for maximizing the company's real estate properties through effective leasing, property management, and strategic planning. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of properties, ensuring efficient operations, and managing real estate assets to support the company's growth and operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate various types of contracts, including purchase agreements and leases.
- Submit and review offers/counteroffers and coordinate communication with internal and external resources.
- Perform and/or review market studies to understand the real estate market in the project area.
- Develop and define operational needs and financial budgets in conjunction with leadership.
- Perform basic financial analyses and compare data to benchmarks to support lease/property changes.
- Prepare and submit project approval requests, including lease data for financial analysis.
- Support field operations with facility and lease-related problems and dispute resolutions.
- Oversee and coordinate construction efforts for property development, repair, and renovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 6 - 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
