About the position

As a Real Estate Manager at WSB, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the corporate real estate portfolio of the company. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, maintain, and implement a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with WSB's goals and objectives. This involves collaborating closely with internal operations to accurately identify office space needs and working with external brokers to locate suitable office spaces that meet those needs. You will lead the space planning efforts through the entire pipeline, from site selection to negotiating letters of intent, finalizing leases, and overseeing the construction of office spaces, including fit planning and furniture selection. In addition to space planning, you will work alongside internal legal teams to negotiate leases and lease amendments for all approved office spaces. Your role will also require you to partner with internal service teams and external vendors, including interior design, furniture, and construction teams, to ensure that office space projects progress smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for negotiating and administering master service agreements with various vendors, ensuring that all aspects of the office space are managed effectively. On a day-to-day basis, you will manage facility needs and lead quarterly facility calls with the assistance of a Facilities Specialist. Establishing and maintaining office space guidelines will be crucial, as will conducting condition assessments and tracking lease terms. You will also be responsible for managing lease renewals and ensuring that the accounting team has the necessary lease information for US GAAP tracking purposes.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years of corporate real estate experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to think outside the box and be a trusted decision-maker.
  • Proficient knowledge of real estate financial terms and principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to efficiently present information.
  • Willingness to be flexible, adaptive, and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
