About the position

Ruum Media is seeking experienced architectural photographers and videographers to join their team in the Seattle area. This part-time, temporary, and freelance position focuses on capturing high-quality images and videos of real estate properties, particularly high-end architectural projects. The role emphasizes the importance of a strong portfolio and the ability to deliver exceptional visual content without the need for post-production editing, as that will be handled by the in-house team.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality property photos and videos for a variety of real estate projects.
• Upload images and footage to the system—no editing required.
• Focus on shooting while the company manages booking, scheduling, client relations, and billing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in architectural photography and videography with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent attitude and strong people skills for professional communication and relationship building.
• Own gear including a full-frame mirrorless camera, wide-angle lens, flash, tripod, and video equipment.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in using computers and smartphones.
• Reliable transportation to cover jobs in the South Bay Area.
• Availability for a minimum of 3-4 weekdays per week.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of drone/aerial photography and videography.
• Experience with Matterport 3D photography or other immersive imaging tools.
