About the position

The Real Estate Program Manager for AWS Data Center Supply Solutions will play a crucial role in supporting the expansion of Amazon's cloud business by managing real estate programs and initiatives. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including landowners, developers, and internal teams, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards. The role requires a blend of strategic and tactical skills to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage real estate programs and initiatives in line with company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee and coordinate the reporting of real estate projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including real estate agents, property managers, legal, finance, and marketing teams, to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Establish and implement project management methodologies, processes, and tools to streamline program delivery.
  • Monitor and report on program progress, risks, issues, and key performance metrics (KPIs) to stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with other internal and external teams, including Design Engineering, Legal, Economic Development, Public Policy, Construction and Capacity Planning.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for program management to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate project status across many teams and management levels.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
  • PMP certificate, or Master's degree
