About the position

The Real Estate Project Coordinator at the Archdiocese of Denver plays a crucial role in managing and developing the real estate assets of the Archdiocese, which encompasses approximately 175 parishes, schools, and other ministry entities across northern Colorado. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the world and are committed to living out their values in a professional setting. The coordinator will work closely with various ministries to advise, improve, protect, maintain, and fully develop their real estate assets in alignment with the evangelical mission of the Church. A significant aspect of this role involves assisting parishes, schools, and ministries in understanding and complying with new energy efficiency requirements as mandated by the State of Colorado's Building Performance Program and the City of Denver's Energize Denver initiative. The coordinator will be expected to navigate the complexities of these regulations and ensure that the Archdiocese's properties meet compliance standards. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth, as the coordinator will encounter diverse projects and challenges on a weekly basis, providing a breadth of experience that is rare in the field. The coordinator will support the Director of Real Estate in various functions, including reviewing agreements between ministries and municipalities, coordinating real estate transactions, and managing projects related to real estate ownership. The ideal candidate will possess flexibility and the ability to work across multiple disciplines to successfully complete projects and tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of municipal planning processes, effective interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage workloads efficiently while meeting deadlines. Additionally, the position may allow for future remote work based on job performance and tenure, although in-person work at the Archdiocese's Pastoral Center is required initially.
