The Real Estate Services Coordinator position is a vital role within the City of Georgetown, TX, under the direction of the City Attorney. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of real estate acquisition and disposition for various City projects and other real estate transactions. The coordinator will ensure compliance with laws and City policies while managing the acquisition of real property rights necessary for the construction, maintenance, expansion, and operation of public utilities and capital improvement projects. Additionally, the role involves coordinating the temporary use of City property by others, managing consultants and vendors, and negotiating with landowners and their representatives. The coordinator will also review development applications, serve as a case manager for licenses to encroach and abandonments, and provide technical assistance on real estate matters to other City departments, developers, and property owners.
