About the position
The Interactive Media Group (IMG) at Apple is seeking a proactive and talented software engineer to contribute to the development of advanced real-time audio and video frameworks. This role involves working on technologies that support features such as Screen Capture, Screen Recording, VoIP, and Internet Live Broadcasting Streaming across iOS, tvOS, and macOS. The engineer will be responsible for feature development, design contributions, performance analysis, and algorithm tuning to enhance customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop features for real-time audio and video frameworks.
- Contribute to design and architecture of software solutions.
- Analyze and optimize performance of existing systems.
- Tune algorithms for enhanced customer experiences.
Requirements
- Experience with object-oriented programming in C, C++, ObjectiveC, or Swift.
- Strong communication, writing, and presenting skills.
- B.S or M.S in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with a focus in software engineering.

- Interest in customer features such as Screen Sharing, Screen Capture, Gaming, Apple Arcade, Live Internet Streaming, FaceTime, Home Automation, Screen Recording, and Screen Mirroring.
