About the position
The Real-Time Transcription Data Scientist role at Insight Global involves building AI models to support real-time transcription and sentiment analysis for high-volume contact centers. The position focuses on enhancing existing natural language processing capabilities and developing models that can summarize calls and analyze sentiment based on various linguistic features. The team aims to create a sophisticated AI system that can process and understand text data effectively, moving beyond traditional audio-based methods.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI models for real-time text data transcription and sentiment analysis.
- Capture call summaries in two to three sentences regarding issues and resolutions.
- Gather sentiment feedback based on tone, energy, and language.
- Improve existing large language models (LLMs) for generative AI applications.
- Incorporate word embedding techniques to convert word phrases into numerical representations.
- Fine-tune existing models to enhance performance and understanding of text data.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of data science experience.
- Proficiency in working with large language models (LLMs).
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with SQL for data manipulation.
- Familiarity with text data and word embedding techniques.
- Experience in customer experience or contact center data analysis.
