About the position

ClinChoice is searching for a Real World Data Analytics Programmer/Analyst Consultant to join one of our clients. This position offers the unique opportunity to work directly for a single sponsor while benefiting from the security and career opportunities that come with being part of a global Contract Research Organization (CRO). As a client-facing role, we are looking for confident candidates who can work independently while establishing a high-trust environment with the client's counterparts. The Real World Analytics (RWA) Analyst will be responsible for executing statistical analysis plans for observational research conducted by the Real World Evidence (RWE), Global Product Strategy (GPS), and other cross-functional stakeholders. The RWA Analyst will also provide analytic input to patient population selection, conduct medical code searches, perform quality control as needed, and manage workload in support of one or more therapeutic areas. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and quality of data analysis and will involve collaboration with various teams to optimize database management and develop tools that enhance RWD analytic work. In this role, you will be expected to develop applications for data visualization and dashboards, ensuring that the insights derived from data are effectively communicated to stakeholders. Attention to detail is paramount, as is the ability to adhere to established standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, diverse, and constantly changing environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Executes on statistical analysis plans.
  • Checks other analyst's work to ensure quality.
  • Evaluates and provides input to database selection, patient population selection, and statistical analysis plans.
  • Supports database management and optimization.
  • Develops tools to improve and automate RWD analytic work.
  • Develops applications in data visualization and dashboard.

Requirements

  • 5 years SAS programming experience is required; other programming skills such as SQL, R, Python, Matlab, HTML are preferred.
  • Experience working with large databases is required. Experience working with AWS is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the US healthcare system, health insurance billing data, and electronic medical record data.
  • Familiarity with data analysis methods, data management, and data visualization.
  • Skills in data visualization and knowledge of dashboard creation using tools such as Tableau and Power BI are preferred.
  • Attention to detail is critical, as is adhering to standards and procedures.
  • Good organizational and written/verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing, fast-paced, diverse, and matrix environment.
  • Ability to multitask; strong work ethic and a 'can-do' mentality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AWS.
  • Knowledge of dashboard creation using Tableau or Power BI.
