About the position

Zoom is seeking Realtime DevOps Engineers to join the Zoom for Government organization, focusing on designing and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure while implementing best practices for CI/CD, IaC, logging, monitoring, and automation. The role involves collaboration with international teams to ensure optimal platform performance and operational excellence in the critical production environment of Zoom's product suite.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement best practices for CI/CD, IaC, logging, monitoring, and automation.
  • Collaborate with international teams to ensure platform reliability.
  • Participate in on-call shifts and incident management.
  • Work after hours/weekends for application releases and deployments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or DevOps Engineer role.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting, and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
  • Experience installing, configuring, and monitoring Linux systems in physical data centers.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Argo CD).
  • Experience with Cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform).
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
