About the position
As a Realty Project Coach, you will be part of the Realty Execution team, responsible for managing multiple store remodel projects simultaneously. Your role will involve overseeing project timelines, ensuring quality standards are met, and supervising team members. You will also handle escalations and collaborate with store associates to ensure projects are completed on schedule. This position requires frequent travel, with expectations of being away from home for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Manage the progress of multiple store remodel projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
- Supervise hourly team members and handle escalations.
- Organize project timelines and deliverables.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholder teams to analyze and implement project initiatives.
- Communicate project plans and deliverables to key stakeholders.
- Direct associates and vendors on processes and procedures.
- Plan merchandise placement based on modular requirements.
- Monitor sales and project budgets, assessing economic impacts of project decisions.
- Collaborate with facility management to establish phasing plans that minimize operational impact.
- Maintain and adjust timelines, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on project execution best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field AND 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years of experience in the same fields.
- 6 months of retail experience.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to work overnight shifts and travel up to 1000 miles.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience leading a cross-functional team.
- Master's degree in Business Project Management.
- Management Professional Certification (Project Management Institute).
