About the position

As a Store Project Coach at Walmart, you will be part of the Realty Execution team, responsible for managing multiple store remodel projects. This role involves overseeing the progress of these projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. You will supervise hourly team members, handle escalations, and work closely with store associates to ensure project timelines are met, while also accommodating significant travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the progress of multiple store remodel projects.
• Oversee and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Supervise hourly team members and handle escalations.
• Collaborate with store associates to complete projects on schedule.
• Organize project timelines and deliverables.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholder teams to analyze and implement project initiatives.
• Direct associates and vendors on processes and procedures for project execution.
• Monitor sales and project budgets, assessing economic impacts of project decisions.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field AND 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years of experience in the same fields.
• 6 months of retail experience.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to work overnight shifts.
• Must be willing to travel to any work location within 1000 miles of home store region.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience leading a cross-functional team.
• Master's degree in Business Project Management.
• Management Professional Certification (Project Management Institute).
