About the position

The position involves preparing rebar placing drawings, material lists, and fabrication tags using advanced technologies in a cost-effective manner, adhering to A/E plans and CRSI standards. The role requires learning and utilizing CAD systems and aSa software to support the detailing process and ensure timely delivery of materials and drawings to customers.

Responsibilities

• Learn basic functions of rebar detailing utilizing computer aided drafting (CAD) systems.
• Learn and operate aSa software programs to generate rebar lists and fabrication tags.
• Learn and operate reproduction machines, scanners, and printers necessary for daily duties.
• Assist Detailers in preparing transmittals and submitting rebar drawings to relevant stakeholders.
• Utilize computer drafting skills to prepare rebar placing drawings according to project plans and specifications.
• Prepare drawing and related packages for shipment or delivery to customers.
• Monitor project progress and fabrication schedules to assist customers with timely delivery.
• Communicate project status and activities with customers and contractors during weekly production meetings.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Manager or Team Lead.

Requirements
