About the position

The Rebate Operations Analyst at MedImpact Healthcare Systems is responsible for analyzing disputed data related to drug rebates, assisting clients with pharmacy audits, and managing billing processes for numerous manufacturers. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients. The analyst will also perform financial reconciliations and ensure compliance with service agreements, contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of rebate operations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze disputed data and work with drug manufacturers to resolve disputes.
  • Assist clients with pharmacy audits by providing requested information and support.
  • Manage payment posting, collections, and maintain client service agreements.
  • Execute billing processing for over 800 manufacturers per program and perform quality assurance activities.
  • Review drug rebate claims for errors that impact invoicing.
  • Perform provider audits to verify product and quantity dispensed.
  • Send out past due notices to drug manufacturers.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the State regarding all rebate programs.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly financial reconciliation with the State.
  • Fulfill client requests for reporting, invoicing, and other rebate-related needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 5+ years of directly related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in rebate operations.
  • Experience in rebate billing, accounting, finance, or contract management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with MedInvoice rebate system or other business intelligence software.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy services in a managed healthcare environment.
