The Receiving Clerk/Data Entry position at a leading manufacturing company in Elmhurst is a temp-to-hire opportunity focused on data entry and administrative tasks within a manufacturing environment. The role requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills, as the candidate will be responsible for processing incoming goods and maintaining accurate records in the system. Responsibilities

  • Receive all jobs from outside vendors and sort them accordingly.
  • Run receiving reports by vendor and date.
  • Print and transfer work orders to Quality Control (QC) along with vendor packing slips and samples.
  • Place copies of vendor packing slips with the report for daily receipt numbers.
  • Enter work orders in the ELOQ system by job number.
  • Create new Bills of Lading (BOLs) for the next vendor sequence.
  • Arrange trucking for out-of-state outbound products.
  • Follow up on emails and phone calls from purchasing, Customer Service Representatives (CSR), and QC as needed.
  • Ensure that all procedures are followed and company policies are executed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Strong data entry skills and experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with data management systems.
  • Highly detailed and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
