About the position
The Receiving & Distribution Clerk position involves receiving, distributing, and storing all incoming products in a professional manner while adhering to food safety regulations. This part-time role requires a flexible schedule, including day shifts and weekends, to support the operations of Derby Lane as it continues to grow and expand its entertainment offerings.
Responsibilities
- Receive, distribute, and store all incoming products efficiently and professionally.
- Account for all products delivered to appropriate stands and restaurants.
- Verify shipments received and ensure proper weights and counts against order lists and invoices.
- Daily scan requisition sheets to guarantee proper amounts were delivered.
- Accurately handle, control, and disperse product.
- Distribute and store all incoming products and equipment in a neat manner.
- Keep stock rotated and change out kegs.
- Deliver liquor throughout the department.
- Operate and maintain all equipment/tools as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Food and Beverage for product, procedures, and terminology.
- Knowledge of safety temperature control on refrigerators and freezers for food safety.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Comprehension of basic math.
