As a Receiving Material/Inventory Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day product inventory operations for designated peri-operative areas. This role requires collaboration with medical and nursing staff and all areas of Support Services, including but not limited to Central Issues, Purchasing, Warehouse, Receiving, Billing, Processing, Clinical Engineering, and Information Systems. You will be responsible for inventory functions and addressing product and/or accounting discrepancies that arise from those functions. Daily operational analysis will be conducted through the maintenance of automated information systems, and you will forecast inventory utilization based on standard acceptable par levels, recommending inventory consumption control measures. Additionally, you will determine usage, lead time, safety stock, and MIN and MAX quantity for all assigned inventory.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Materials Management, Shipping/Receiving/Distribution required; Hospital inventory experience preferred.
  • Computer literacy in word processing and spreadsheet applications required.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds required.
