About the position

The Recent Graduate Automation Engineer I position at Schneider Electric is designed for recent graduates looking to kickstart their careers in automation engineering. This full-time role offers comprehensive training in sustainability and automation fundamentals, preparing candidates for various opportunities within the Public Sector Operations division after a 6-month development program.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a 6-month development program to gain exposure to automation engineering and sustainability practices.
  • Conduct site audits for clients as part of the Hardware Design group.
  • Create estimates, scopes of work, and control designs for Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Support the Applications team in optimizing BAS through application development and HMI creation.
  • Assist the Field Operations group with hands-on experience and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with a degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Familiarity with hardware design and application development.
