About the position

Schneider Electric is seeking recent graduates for their Automation Engineering Development Program, which will take place at the Dallas Hub in Carrollton, TX. This full-time position offers a comprehensive training program over six months, focusing on sustainability, automation fundamentals, and essential soft skills. Successful candidates will have opportunities in various divisions, including Hardware Design, Applications, and Field Operations, across the U.S. The role emphasizes problem-solving and technical expertise to drive sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a six-month comprehensive training program.
  • Engage in site audits and create estimates and scopes of work for Building Automation Systems.
  • Support the Applications team in optimizing Building Automation Systems through application development.
  • Oversee controls installation and manage contractors in the Field Operations group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or two-year technical degree in Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and Project.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional certifications such as LEED, CEA, CEM, or CISCO.
  • Experience in designing, programming, or installing Building Automation Systems.
  • Familiarity with HVAC system sequence of operation and understanding of network architecture.
