Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk reception duties and provide administrative support to the Department Chair and faculty.

Requirements

  • Experience providing, coordinating, and leading clerical and administrative support functions in a complex administrative environment.
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision, set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task in a work environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the Internet.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey information clearly and accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with faculty, staff, students, and community members.
  • Ability to perform a variety of clerical/administrative duties and data entry with speed and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings and events.

  • Ability to apply judgment, discretion, and initiative in making recommendations.
