About the position

The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant role at Busby Cabinets is a part-time position that plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for clients and visitors. This position supports the administrative functions of the company, assists in maintaining the Design Center, and provides support to the Sales and Design team. The role involves a variety of tasks including greeting clients, managing phone calls, and coordinating meetings and travel arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients in person and over the phone
  • Answer phones and direct calls as needed
  • Open the showroom and maintain its professional appearance
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies
  • Send copier counts to Konica Minolta
  • Coordinate company meetings and travel arrangements for installers
  • Manage sample inventory and order samples as needed
  • Assist Sales/Designers with client visits and accommodations
  • Support other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some college preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Vendor management skills
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
