About the position

The Receptionist/Assistant Business Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Business Office at Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. This position involves managing communication, assisting with office duties, and supporting the facility's administrative functions to enhance resident care and staff development.

Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone calls and guide residents, family members, visitors, and staff to appropriate personnel for assistance.
  • Assist with mail distribution and general office duties as assigned by the Business Office Manager and/or facility Administrator.
  • Responsible for accounts payable, including collecting, processing, and submitting invoices for payment in a timely manner.
  • Assist with updating the employee phone list as needed.
  • Mail out monthly resident statements for room and board.
  • Actively participate in enhancing the lives of residents through dedicated patient care and census building programs.
  • Assist in the development and retention of staff through recruitment, training, and nurturing employees.
  • Verify EPLS and OIG for vendors on an initial, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Business Office Manager.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
