About the position

The Receptionist/Data Clerk at Skywood Recovery is responsible for coordinating lobby activities, providing administrative support, and ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and guests. This role involves greeting visitors, answering phones, managing mail, and assisting with accounts payable processes, all while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and guests as they enter the building.
  • Provide direction for guests, patients, vendors, and program support staff.
  • Respond to calls in a courteous and helpful manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the reception area.
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Order and maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Research information needed for invoicing processes.
  • Assist with accounts payable processes as needed.
  • Set up new vendors and maintain the active purchase order process.
  • Maintain receipts for credit card purchases and complete monthly credit card purchase report.
  • Perform all other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience in behavioral health, business administration, accounting, or patient accounts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills with poise, professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software applications including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficiency in MS Access preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable processes.
