About the position

The Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk position is a per diem role that operates under the direct supervision of the Manager or Department Head. This role is essential for providing a welcoming environment for visitors and ensuring efficient administrative support within the organization. The individual in this position will be responsible for greeting visitors, directing patrons and patients, and performing a variety of data entry and administrative tasks. The Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, making it crucial to maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service. In addition to greeting and directing visitors, the Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk will handle incoming phone calls, ensuring they are answered, screened, and forwarded appropriately. Daily mail will also be received and sorted, and the individual will be responsible for addressing and escalating customer complaints as necessary. Providing information about the facilities, programs, and services offered is a key part of the role, as is accessing and responding to emails in a timely manner. The position requires the scanning and maintenance of documents, as well as performing electronic data entry. The Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk will assist in the preparation of correspondence and maintain accurate data records. Additionally, the role involves preparing materials, agendas, notes, and handouts for meetings and other events. The individual may also be required to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-1 years of related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and software.
