About the position

The Receptionist/Personal Lines Assistant Account Manager position at Ansay & Associates is designed for an organized and motivated individual who excels in customer service and attention to detail. This role involves supporting client relations, managing personal lines accounts, and ensuring accurate processing of insurance policies. The position emphasizes collaboration within a team-oriented environment, aiming to build strong client relationships and provide value-added services.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing company issued new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, typing, endorsement forms, and coverage.
• Assisting clients with loss claims and following up as needed based on workflow.
• Making pre-renewal calls to clients, and providing client education as needed.
• Obtaining information requested by the insurance carrier underwriter.
• Preparing Auto ID cards, Evidence of Property, Summary of Insurance, and Binders.
• Servicing personal lines accounts to eliminate gaps in coverage, thus reducing E&O exposures.
• Sorting mail, taking messages, greeting clients, managing records, filing, copying, scanning, ordering supplies, and overseeing supply inventory.
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail - manual and electronic versions, including UPS & FedEx.
• Calling in postage meter and processing accounting mail and incoming bills for UPS and FedEx accounts.
• Performing other administrative duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements

• Associates degree desired and/or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years experience in providing administrative/office support.
• Strong business acumen with a thorough and detailed approach.
• Possess an extreme attention to detail, independent judgement along with keen decision-making skills.
• Punctual and dependable.
