About The Position
Westmoreland County Prison is seeking applicants for the position of Part Time receptionist. The purpose of this position is to coordinate and communicate with visitors of Westmoreland County Prison. Additional job duties include but are not limited to: Answering telephones, taking messages, using the public address system, providing assistance, and directing calls and visitors to appropriate personnel. Receiving and processing money and other items for inmates, verifying all incoming monies and valuables, recording and posting money orders, and reconciling the cash drawer. Sorting, censoring, and preparing all incoming inmate and prison mail and documents.
