About the position
PS Salon & Spa is looking for a compassionate and professional Salon Receptionist to deliver exceptional customer service in a part-time capacity at our full-service Salon & Spa located in Richmond, VA. The role involves greeting customers, managing appointments, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while adhering to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers
- Answer phones and provide follow-up calls to customers
- Book and confirm service appointments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace (wash & fold towels, capes, etc.)
- Help to build the business and support a welcoming atmosphere for everyone
- Must adhere to company dress code
- Exercise care and compassion towards customers
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- 1-2 years Receptionist experience (preferred)
- 1-2 years salon experience (preferred)
- Ability to multi-task
- Adaptable to change in various environments
- Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of related experience
