About the position

As a Receptionist for the Spa & Salon at Mandalay Bay, you will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by providing exceptional service and maintaining a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include managing guest check-ins, assisting with service bookings, and ensuring cleanliness in the reception area. This part-time position requires a friendly demeanor and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the Receptionist area is clean and presentable for all incoming guests
• Provide individualized experiences by engaging with guests and personalizing recommendations to promote services, enhancements, upgrades, and retail products
• Assist guests in the booking of Spa & Salon services
• Create exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting guests with questions, ensuring professional and courteous behavior
• Manage cash bank daily, retain knowledge of spa/salon software system
• Maintain knowledge and adherence to all departmental policies and procedures including safety and sanitation policies
• Inform management of all guest issues, needed supplies or equipment related issues
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

Requirements

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Currently holds or is able to obtain a Food Handler's Card
• Ability to work various shifts possibly including weekends and holidays
• Has a flexible schedule
• Is dependable and service-focused
• Has prior experience using Zenoti and Opera
