The Receptionist at The Residence at Watertown Square plays a crucial role in promoting the mission and core values of LCB Senior Living. This position involves interacting positively with residents, visitors, and professionals, while managing front desk activities and providing clerical support. The role is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring effective communication within the community.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living.
• Handle incoming telephone calls professionally and courteously.
• Greet guests and visitors and direct them accordingly.
• File correspondence and sort mail.
• Record and type guest meal charges.
• Maintain and file resident safety sheets.
• Type correspondence as needed.
• Coordinate front desk activities and maintain a neat and orderly front desk.
• Respond to emergency situations by contacting appropriate parties.
• Attend required in-service training sessions and orientations.
• Respond to residents' needs in a courteous manner.
• Update the communication log book regularly.
• Maintain community brochures and stock.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months to one year of prior reception experience in an office environment.
• Knowledge of basic telephone reception systems and techniques.
• Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing.
• Typing or word processing experience preferred.
• Focused and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

• Experience in word processing.

Benefits

• Starting pay of $17.00 an hour and up based on experience.
