About the position

The Front Desk Receptionist at Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, staff, and visitors. This role is crucial in providing information, directing inquiries, and supporting administrative tasks, all while maintaining a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be organized, patient, and committed to delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and receive guests in a cordial and friendly manner.
• Assist guests or refer to appropriate Center resources.
• Answer all incoming telephone calls, assist within the scope of position, transfer, or take accurate messages.
• Maintain the neatness of the reception area, entryway, and community room.
• Ensure all lights are on in all common areas.
• Assist Department Heads with administrative tasks and projects, e.g., typing letters, minutes of meetings, shift assignments, photocopying, etc.
• Distribute internal communications to resident's mailboxes.
• Operate and maintain office equipment, e.g., postage meter, photocopier, fax machine, etc.
• Promote an environment that results in resident satisfaction by exhibiting a positive attitude and timely response to resident needs and requests.
• Perform all other duties as required and consistent with the education and skills required for this position.

Requirements

• 1-year experience as a receptionist
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized
• Able to work weekends and holidays
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent work ethic
