About the position

The Receptionist position at Belle Reve Senior Living involves providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a senior living community. The role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff, while also handling various clerical tasks and emergency situations with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities

  • Respectfully meet and greet all visitors to the community and direct them to the appropriate person/area.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner and direct them accordingly.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, typing, and mail sorting.
  • Support the Business Office Manager with various projects such as pulling resumes, setting up interviews, data entry, and auditing charts.
  • Respond to emergency situations by contacting the appropriate party; 911, fire department, police, etc.

Requirements

  • A passion for helping seniors.
  • A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family friends, and all team members.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written.
  • The ability to respond calmly to emergency situations is essential.
  • The ability to handle all incoming telephone calls and visitors in a pleasant and courteous manner.

Nice-to-haves
