About the position

The Receptionist role at Ramelius Resources is a permanent, full-time position responsible for managing front desk operations and providing administrative support. The role involves answering calls, greeting clients, managing correspondence, and ensuring the smooth operation of office functions. The Receptionist will report to the Communications & Administration Manager and play a key role in maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and transfer all received calls in a diligent and professional manner.
  • Meet and greet clients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Register, distribute and manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence, mail, couriers, and office freight.
  • Set up meeting rooms & clean up, including catering, tea & coffee service.
  • Format reports, presentations and documents and upload to SharePoint.
  • Complete clerical duties to a high standard such as filing, photocopying, collating, archiving etc.
  • Operate and maintain office machines - printers, copiers etc.
  • Order and maintain inventory levels for uniforms, stationary, tea & coffee and other items as well as small stocktake process.
  • Attend and close-out building maintenance requests.
  • Organise employee travel and accommodation.
  • Follow up on invoice queries and payments for authorisation when required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a reception role.
  • Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar - not required.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages preferred.
  • Comply with all corporate policies.
  • Maintain a high level of security in relation to IT, privacy, and document control.
  • Good communication, writing and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Initiative - able to solve problems.
  • Ability to build relationships across functions.
  • WA C Class Licence is desirable.

  • Pronto experience - not required.
