The TikTok-Data RecCore team is responsible for the recommendation algorithms that directly impact the core user experience on the platform. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on optimizing large-scale recommendation algorithms, solving complex optimization problems, and improving algorithms across various academic fields such as computer vision (CV) and natural language processing (NLP). You will also design recommendation architectures for different scenarios and conduct in-depth analyses of product data. This role allows you to delve into the improvement and optimization of machine learning algorithms while collaborating with teams from diverse cultural backgrounds around the world. Internships at TikTok are designed to provide students with hands-on experience and industry exposure, helping you turn your ambitions into reality. The program runs for 12 weeks, starting in May/June 2024, and includes a vibrant mix of social events and development workshops to enhance your learning experience.
