Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
  • Management experience of 2 years (Required)
  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Proficient in using various tools, electronic platforms and equipment related to digital creativity and technology.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and complete individual tasks.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to industry regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Be a hands-on leader, coach by example, hold team accountable, have extreme ownership.
  • Follow all processes to detail body shop vehicles, service department vehicles, and vehicles for resale.
  • Verify the cleanliness and appearance of every used vehicle.
  • Help production team as needed.
  • Fix minor imperfections in aesthetic of used vehicles.
  • Work closely with Reconditioning Service Manager, Acquisition Team, Digital Team, and Used Vehicle Director.
  • Transport vehicles to various dealerships, vendors, or lots as needed.
  • Shop, order and restock all necessary products as needed.
  • Maintain the car wash, wash bays, and overhead doors used by department.
  • Follow production line process set in place by Used Vehicle Director.
  • Help to teach and train new hires.
  • Immediately report body damage to Used Vehicle director or Reconditioning Service Manager.
  • Continue to learn new products, methods, and tools as needed.
  • Utilize Rapid Recon to get vehicles to frontline as quickly as possible.
  • Prioritize aged inventory labelled in Rapid Recon.
  • Hold production team accountable to keep inventory in the 'Recon' step in Rapid Recon under 2 days in step.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working area.
  • Empty all trash cans in work area daily.
  • Help train and coach new hires.
  • Ensure all team members are up to date on all mandatory trainings.
  • Manage Reconditioning schedule and paid time off utilizing BambooHR.
  • Follow all Stuckey Automotive safety procedures and reporting practices.
  • Conduct performance reviews with direct reports annually, and on an as needed basis.
  • Follow and enforce Stuckey Automotive disciplinary policy.
  • Aid the Used Vehicle Director in ensuring proper staffing levels to maintain reasonable wage expenses including overtime pay.
  • Communicate with sales team to problem solve used vehicle problems.
