The clerk will also review records for compliance with court rules, preparing records for appeals to the Supreme Court of the United States, and for plenary hearings. The role also encompasses criminal case assignments, where the clerk must check for judicial conflicts and process pro hac vice applications. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Well organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to type 50 wpm or more.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete numerous tasks in a timely manner.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a legal or court setting (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
