Recovery Support Staff - Per Diem

About the position

This position supports our sober living clients on a per-diem live-in basis. You are there to support those living in the house for daily accountability. In this position you would provide rides with a company vehicle to 12 step supports, assist those in maintaining evening schedules and provide oversight to those living in the house.

Responsibilities

• Address day-to-day non-therapeutic needs of clients while maintaining a calm, welcoming and professional demeanor
• Facilitate 12-step support and life skills related groups
• Facilitate outings such as 12-step meetings, bowling, trips to the movies
• Facilitate Wellness outings such as yoga and hikes
• Provide transportation as needed
• Provide guidance related to daily life skills (laundry, chores, cleaning, budgeting, grocery shopping)
• Assist with administration and processing of drug screens and breathalyzers
• Assist with morning wake-up and evening bed check of clients as necessary
• Perform errands such as delivering or picking up mail, packages, food, medications, and cleaning supplies
• Offers real-time mentorship and guidance to clients living in the house
• Monitors sign in/sign out sheet to ensure all extended care residents are accounted for
• Ensures house is clean, organized and, properly stocked with supplies, linens, groceries, etc.

Requirements

• High School Graduate of equivalent in GED required
• Minimum 1 years' experience/knowledge in substance abuse treatment preferred

Nice-to-haves

• Current or working towards certification (CAC, CASAC, CPRS) preferred
