The Tustin Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to fostering community through its parks, programs, and people. The department is currently seeking motivated and reliable individuals for the part-time role of Recreation Facilities Assistant. This position is essential in ensuring that facilities are prepared for various events and activities, contributing to the overall success of community engagement initiatives. As a Recreation Facilities Assistant, the primary responsibilities include setting up facilities for meetings, recreation classes, and special events. This role also involves performing maintenance duties across various city locations, including the Community Center, Family and Youth Center, Recreation Center, Senior Center, and City Hall. Given the nature of the job, frequent interaction with the public, including children, teenagers, and senior citizens, is expected. Therefore, the ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the City positively while engaging with community members.
